In dark brown cotton, with machine embroidered golden threads “NSD Oberschule Starnbergersee”, and also edged at the top and bottom in golden colored threads; approximate length 39cm (or 15 ½ inches), in extremely fine condition.
Cuff titles were similar to armbands, except often stating a more specific and specialised purpose of the wearer. They were significantly smaller than armbands, didn’t necessarily go all the way around the arm, and were worn on the lower part of the left sleeve.
Cadre personnel of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Oberschule Starnbergersee (National Socialist German Secondary School Lake Starnberg) wore a black cuff title with the white Gothic letters “NSD Oberschule Starnbergersee”, with white horizontal stripes on the top and bottom.
