The Commemorative Medal of the Voluntary Police (1948-1998) was established by Ministerial Decree in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Voluntary Police Force. It was awarded to all members of the Force, as well as to all individuals involved in the organisation and execution of the celebrations.
The Bronze Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Voluntary Police." Approximately 2500 were awarded.
