The Hong Kong Diamond Jubilee Medal was instituted in 1897 in commemoration of Queen Victoria's 60th anniversary of the accession to the throne on June 20, 1897. The Medal was presented in Silver and Bronze.

There is limited information regarding this item, due to many records being destroyed during the Japanese occupation.
