Rather than carrying the regular HJ Knive, the HJ Guard Unit (Wachgefolgschaft) was allowed to use a so-called Honour Bayonet instead. The Wachgefolgschaft was an elite unit protecting the Reich Youth Leader.
The bayonet measures 345mm and is of the standard Army design, but featuring an HJ diamond laid into the obverse grip. The scabbard is black and made of metal. The dagger was suspended from a black leather hanger, a so-called dagger frog. The blade is unmarked.
