A machine woven badge for enlisted personnel, approx. 52.0mm(width) x 68.0mm(height), multicolored, against black background, in extremely fine condition.
This insignia was introduced in March 1941 for HJ members volunteering as firefighters who passed the requisite tests. It is in the shape of a diamond with white horizontal and black vertical segments, has a carmine police-style eagle emblem, and six red flames above the eagle. The border is carmine as well. It was worn on the lower left sleeve.
