History

The sports shoes of the Hitler Youth were introduced in a regulation from October 7, 1933. These shoes were worn by both male and female members of the HJ while they were participating in exercising and sports events.

These athletic shoes were black and of the low-quarter type. They were made of fabric and leather, and were often worn without socks.
