The Navy HJ winter jacket was introduced in a regulation from 1934. It was worn by non-officer members as part of the undress uniform (Kleiner Dienstanzug) during the winter months (October 15 to April 14). It was also worn by Hitler Youth War Auxiliaries of the Kriegsmarine.
It is a short blue over-jacket.
