History

The uniform worn in Wehrertüchtigungslager (military exercise camps) was the HJ wartime field training uniform. It was worn by all non-officer HJ members when serving in WE-Lager during summer. In the winter the standard winter uniform of the HJ was used. It is unknown when this uniform was introduced or what material it consisted of.

The waist-length fatigue jacket is grey, green, or (possibly) brown, with a lay-down collar. It features a four concealed button closure. A fifth button at the lapel makes it possible to close it. It has two pleated breast pockets with a buttoned flap.
