History

In the early days of the organisation, uniforms were only loosely based on a general common pattern. Standardisation was achieved in 1933 in a regulation from August 10.

This garment was introduced in a regulation from July 22, 1938. It is dark blue, single-breasted, and has an open lay-down collar. There is a six button closure on the left, and three buttons on each cuff.
