The Israel Defence Force Armoured "Bison" Brigade Yom Kippur War Medal was awarded to members of the 14th Brigade who served on the Western Coast of the Sinai Peninsula and who sustained the force of the Egyptian surprise attack.

The Medal features a Hebrew inscription on the obverse which translates to "As Arrows in the Hands of the Mighty, this the Sons of Youth are Glorious", as well as on the reverse which translates to "Yom Kippur War."
