History

The Navy Day Commemorative Medal (Miidaliyya Yom al-Bhariyya) is believed to have been instituted in 1958. The Medal was awarded to all Navy personnel who served on Navy Day, July 11. It is uncertain if the Medal was issued yearly or presented on one occasion. More research is needed.
