History

The Order of Friendship (Dusti) was established on December 16, 1996. The Order is conferred upon government or public sector workers, personnel active in scientific, cultural, or literature fields, and other citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in recognition of accomplishments in strengthening peace, friendship and collaboration between nations. Service towards the protection of human rights, and significant personal contributions towards the growth and development of the intellectual and spiritual potential of the Republic of Tajikistan.
