Silver, 36.8 mm, original ribbon, suspended from a pinback hanger, very dark patina, bruised, very light contact, near extremely fine.

History


The Silver Jubilee 1931 Medal was instituted in 1931 in commemoration of the Silver Jubilee of Amir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V. The Silver Medal was awarded on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the reign of Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V as the Amir of Bahawalpur.

The obverse features an Urdu inscription which translates to "By the Grace of God Sadiq Mohammed Abbasi V Ruler of God Gifted Kingdom of Bahawalpur" and the reverse features an Urdu inscription which translates to "Celebration of 25 Years Reign AH1325-1350 (1907-1931)."

The rim is stamped with the number of issue of the award.
